School Engagement Services
The primary purpose of this program is to reduce school truancies in elementary age youth (5-12) by addressing structural and motivational barriers to the student’s success, and to divert both the student and parent from further involvement in the juvenile justice system. The program is administered by a certified Education Engagement Specialist in partnership with Case Western Reserve University, and utilizes the Front-End Diversion Initiative and Motivational Interviewing in implementing, monitoring, and achieving outcomes.
